To the spouter who asked if you need to be a year round resident to get a resident parking permit: The answer is no, and yes, this means that the reserved parking space is not available to other people, including tourists, for the entire time the people who reserve the spots are not here and not using the parking. You would think that with Cape May's parking shortage, they would do something about this. I'm shocked that the merchants, the people who have the most to lose from this debacle, aren't more active about this.
