Concerning the open lot on Pacific Ave.: Considering there are no developers building hotels and motels, why not create an RV parking lot with electrical and water hook up? The benefit for the city is a new revenue stream and at the same time, would create a tourist population to patronize the Pacific Avenue stores and restaurants. The site can remain an open lot in the off season and can be rented out for certain events; plus open lots in the off season have minimal maintenance cost.
