There have been legitimate reasoning and a lot of political posturing on where the proposed police station will be located. Some say the Villas because it will be near the municipal complex, but is there enough parking? Is it prudent to locate this complex near a school? The Villas is just one of five sections in L.T., so what about the needs of the other taxpayers? Isn't there a police substation in the recreation bldg.? What do you tell the folks in Shawcrest and Diamond Beach sections? The cost and quality level seems to be ignored by the majority on council. Politics over reasoning?
