In response to the DT spouter who wants to know where the "new parent" rec. volunteers are: I asked a rec. employee how I can coach a team and was told they would need to see if the previous year's coaches were going to coach again. If not, then they would call me. I'm unable to do the "grunt work" if I'm unable to volunteer until another coach steps down. The answer to your question is the "new parents" are on a waiting list.
