How convenient that Wildwood conducts it's own revaluation of property values, then dramatically ups the tax rate. They blamed it on declining ratables, but my property, along with many other people I know in Wildwood, had their property values raised. This way the mayor and commissioners protect their "interests" in the police and fire departments. The city employees get their raises and benefits, but the taxpayers must foot the bill, with many of them on fixed income or seasonal jobs.
