I've called the state police several times now after hearing music blasting and the glow from a bonfire after midnight in the old Belleplain landfill, and have never even seen a trooper drive down my road that leads to the landfill. I seriously doubt they are all driving sober when they leave at 3 a.m., as they drag race down the dirt road in their loud pick-up trucks. I tried calling the state forest line to get the State Park Police, but no one answers the phone at that hour. I called during the day and was told "we'll look into it," but it continues to happen every weekend.
