I wonder if health insurance would be such an issue if more people took better care of themselves by avoiding processed foods, doing some physical activity, getting fresh air, etc. I have health insurance for use in the event of an emergency, but pay out-of-pocket for quality food, massages and other holistic practices. A lot of the people who complain that it's too costly to eat healthy have no problem allotting a large percentage of their net incomes for technology expenses such as iphones, cable television and computers.
