Yesterday, while checking out at a local market in Avalon, I discovered I had left my wallet at home. I had checks, but no cash or credit cards. I asked whether I could write a check and was told no by a young employee stocking shelves. So, I left my bag with two items on the counter. A very kind couple paid for my purchase. The cashier also offered to help pay. They ran the purchase to my car. Very good people!
