Why is it that when an employee's behavior costs the town money time and again, it's overlooked if he/she has family on council? Something is rotten in the SHFD and it's causing good people to leave. High turnover wastes resources, creates an unsafe work environment and reduces the efficiency of the dept. Someone could get hurt all because of one person's shortcomings.
