I have an issue with the new North Wildwood $14 million bond. Why is the city spending over $500,000 for a street sweeper, dump truck and snow plow? First of all, not may shore towns have a street sweeper and this is basically a city item since their run off is poor. The current sweeper leaves more sand on the street than before it arrived, so this is a waste of money. The dump truck I can understand, but snow plows? What happened to the existing snow plows? They usually last 10+ years since they are only used for a few months.
