A report in a daily paper shows a change in the long range trend in this county. Wealthier, second homeowners and retirees will be the bulk of our population here. Is this the solution to our island's problems? Gone will be rowdy animal houses, motorcycle groups, bars, honky-tonk boardwalk, noisy rentals, etc. It's time for the politicians to start planning for a more upscale public.
