Studies show that smaller class sizes lead to better education in school. Yes, some students will do very well regardless of how many students there are in their class, but that does not mean large class sizes are a good thing. Determining what is acceptable is something every school board struggles with, but there should be no question that smaller class sizes lead to greater instructional benefits, especially in the lower grades and with at-risk students.
