New Jersey is giving the 76ers $82 million to build a practice facility in Camden. What do we, the taxpayers get out of this? Supposedly, New Jersey will recover $76 million over the next 35 years. What? Bad investment. The new facility will not be open to the public. So why would anyone open restaurants and retail stores at this location, if no one will be there except the practicing players. Whoever thought this plan out should be given mandatory retirement, with no pension. I can think of a lot better ways to spend $82 million.
