The aerobatics from May 30 to June 1 were part of a competition hosted by a regional chapter of the International Aerobatics Club. This single weekend event takes place yearly, and was announced by the Herald a few weeks ago. It serves not only as an influx of business for the airport, but also contributes to the multi-billion dollar tourist industry in CMC. Furthermore, they're held to stringent safety rules.
