The Middle Township skate park is pointing fingers to scooters as the cause for the damages to the ramps. The officials don't understand the damages happen from wear and tear, and not a single person or object. Their so-called resolution to the problem is to ban scooters, along with bikes that have been banned for over two years now. Why ban the single most up and coming outdoor activity? For those unfamiliar with skate parks, the only remaining park allowing all action sports in Cape May County is Upper Twp. Would the township rather have kids in the streets doing drugs?
