I ran the Wild Half Marathon May 18 and kudos to all those in organizing a fine event. After I finished, I tried walking along the Convention Center to the beach. As I walked down the nice wooden ramp, I realized the City of Wildwood has yet to remove all the sand that blew onto the ramp over the winter. This created a hazard, as I saw someone fall. With a week before the start of the summer season, one would think the city would have had this ramp cleared of sand by now. The city needs to take better care of their most prestigious assets as actions are louder than words.
