There was an interesting and telling story about Wildwood in the Herald. The article concerned AED defibrillators. While the article drew attention to the cost savings found applying for and obtaining the new equipment. it tells a bigger story. The defibrillators purchased are older surplus but it is more modern than the one they currently have? Really? Why is that? Other spouts indicate lots of friends and family driving around town in new city cars. Yet the asset they rely on most, the beach had one, old and outdated AED replaced by surplus old equipment?
