I watched someone with four dogs, all unleashed, walking along the seawall and then they disappeared down one of the streets May 3. These were large dogs and while the owner probably has the dogs trained, the fact remains that many people walk their dogs in that area and if their dogs have to be on a leash, then so do that person's. Now that Memorial Day is approaching, this is a good time to remind all dog owners that dogs much be on a leash and controlled.
