In the national elections, we are forced to use the new, computerized voting machines. Unfortunately, these have no paper backup and any election result can be produced by tapping a few keys. Do we really even vote in the national election? Consider that, since Clinton, the presidents have each had eight year shifts in order; Democrat, Republican, Democrat. Of course, the next president will be a Republican, then the next after, a Democrat, and so on. Is a power sharing scheme in effect? Is there no real, elected government anymore?
