I saw a truck with a bumper sticker reading "Green is Red." The vehicle's owner thinks that environmentalists are communists. That sentiment was not too uncommon decades ago, but since then, rational minds have come to understand that respect for God's creation, and a clean, healthy environment for the citizenry, are not communistic ideas. Apparently there are still some in our midst who prefer disease-inducing polluted air to breathe and water to drink. Equating environmentalism with communism is ludicrous, comedic and blasphemous all at the same time.
