Middle Township

The freeholders have misused the farmland and open space preservation program funds for many years. Many of the properties that were supposedly preserved were later developed by the county into athletic fields or used for zoo expansion. The county allowed a reception hall building to be built on supposedly preserved farmland in West Cape May. Now they have found new ways to waste money from the fund by using it for "historical preservation" or recreational projects. In other words, any nonsense project a mayor presents to the freeholders.
