Those who own property should have a say in what goes on in the town regardless of residency status. These are taxpayers who support the town generously via a number of taxes and fees. They also generously support aspects like the Bird Sanctuary, Beach Clean-up, Garden Club, the Museum, Volunteer Fire Dept., American Legion, local businesses, etc. Many of these people are long time property owners who are genuinely interested in what goes on.
