I have applied for a government grant, not a loan, so I won't have to pay it back. I'm going to use this money to buy a lot in Wildwood and put up a building to open a business. However, I'm going to claim it as a non-profit. If I make money, fine. If I operate at a loss, I will simply walk away from the property, since I got the money for free from the taxpayers of the state. Anything wrong with this plan? Then why is it okay for the mayor and councilmen of Wildwood to do this with open space funds?
