Councilman Conrad called the issue "ethical pitfall." Councilman Simonsen called the action "lack of process." The manager an "honest mistake." Mayor Beck reduced it to, they are picking on the deputy mayor without his presence. Interesting enough the Solicitor R. Gelzunas said nothing. Common sense would dictate a comment about such an expenditure.
