To the spouter who is complaining about the police vehicles in the drive-thrus and waiving summonses: The corporate side of the businesses are the ones waiving the fees on the food/beverages, not the individual worker. Half the workers at these fast food establishments want the police to pay for their food. These corporations acknowledge what law enforcement does as an asset and in turn tries to reward the officers. Also, just because it's offered, doesn't mean the officer is allowed to take the product; several jurisdictions in Cape May County have a policy against free benefits.
