Middle Township has spent years avoiding and enacting animal welfare improvement ordinances. Setting up a committee just delays it further. Wildwood doesn't have any animal welfare committee, and yet enacted a welfare ordinance that protects animals from extreme temperatures. If officials want to make change, they don't need a committee, they should just do what Mayor Troiano and council did. They don't talk, they do, and the animals of Wildwood are now protected. I hope Middle Township and the other townships pay attention to Wildwood.
