With interest, I read the Herald article on the resignation of the in-house engineer, and the hiring of a firm on a temporary basis? I recollect that the individual that resigned was highly sought after by the manager and council not that long ago. They said that the in-house engineer would save money for the township. Then, there was the infamous Clubhouse Drive debacle where the manager had the public works director speak out about his poor work on the project. The engineer just resigns?
