Lower Township residents pay less annually for their students at LCMRHS. How much does it really cost us? Lower Township could have a lot of tax money coming in from that property and a lot of homes could have been built there. Does Cape May have enough land to provide space for a high school for their students? What would the city lose in taxable property if that happened? There are many things to consider other than the annual bill to educate the kids. Lost tax dollars in Lower must be taken into consideration.
