Isn't it about time that some state agency looks into why the city is forcing us to pay for some vacant lot to build an ice skating rink? It just doesn't make sense. If a private enterprise thought it would be successful, they would have bought that empty lot. It appears that we are doing a favor to the property owner to relieve him of paying the city taxes on that property.
