I read the following regarding the new beach event fees: Mayor Ernie Troiano said "We’re down there all year long, maintaining the beach. That’s a lot of work. That’s a lot of taxpayer dollars maintaining that beach." Why is the city maintaining the city beaches between October and May when no other city on the Jersey shore does this? This is a lot of taxpayer dollars going to waste. The city of Wildwood doesn't need that many people in public works year round.
