So many people's lives changed dramatically after the 2008 economic crisis, before President Obama was elected. A lot of people in their 50's and 60's will never be able to fully recover, and the average American will never know what went on behind the scenes to cause it. The American economic system historically has been able to recover, and we have to have faith that it will do so again.
