I came across an article in the Feb. 28 Phila. Inquirer: "Officials at a Northern CA High School acted appropriately when they ordered students wearing American flag T-shirts to turn the garments inside out during the Mexican heritage celebration Cinco de Mayo, the U.S. Court of appeals for the Ninth Circuit ruled. Officials' concerns of racial violence outweighed students' freedom of expression rights." Americans can no longer display the American flag in America? I believe we need to apologize for the marines who raised the flag on Iwo Jima 69 years ago, almost to the day on Feb. 23, 1945.
