The centennial celebration was billed as a cocktail party with great food. And why not? For $50, everyone dressed up and anticipated a grand evening. 250 homeowners attended and this was the time for the town to impress. What did we get? Mashed potatoes, blue cheese crumbles, tiny little shrimp with a spoon, two different shaped pastas with red sauce, cheese balls, a cash bar with drink prices that were different at each bar, a bad light show and costly valet. The worst, big event of all time. The borough should be ashamed.
