I agree with the spout about council delegating their responsibilities in total to the manager. Not to belittle the town manager, but wasn't he rejected by the voters in Middle Twp. a few years ago? What did the voters in Middle Twp. see that the L.T. council didn't? There are elected duties that the township citizens expect from their leadership. Why have a council when everything is delegated to the non-elected manager? Maybe L.T. doesn't need a name change, but leadership from its elected officials. Why should L.T. be a second rate town with second rate leadership?
