For all those who want minimum wage increased. The fed could raise it to $25/hr. Guess what happens then? A happy meal costs $25; milk is $20/gal. All the workers already making up to $25/hr become minimum wage earners. As employers' costs go up, so do their prices, and then some. Within a few years of the increase, people making $30/hr will be living in poverty due to increased cost of living. Instead of government forcing higher pay, consumers should pressure employers by not supporting those that pay low wages.
