Immigrants, both legal and illegal, are here for one reason, they take the jobs nobody wants at a pay nobody would accept. It has been happening for over 200 years. Big business makes a fortune by paying them substandard wages and the rest of us have to deal with the social services mess it creates. If you want to fix the problem, raise the minimum wage to $20 per hour so the jobs are attractive to Americans. We would pay a little more for things, but save in the long run, with less crime and the government not having to support their families.
Moderator's Note: While we are at it, why not pay them $50 per hour? Small business employs most people, and most small business operates on little profit. Mandated minimum wages just means fewer jobs.
