The article on the updated property assessments on the Herald was well done and informative. The tax assessor's office doesn't make people happy, but Mr. Amonette and his secretary are very helpful and competent in assisting the public. The township should be proud of the work that he conducted at a tremendous savings. That is what good government is about, a non-political people doing the work of the taxpayers they serve!
