Absolutely the worst event I have ever attended anywhere was the 100 year "kick off" celebration! Didn't expect dinner or drinks, but what was offered was a rip-off. Parties attended in firehouses years ago, were far superior. $8 up-front for valet parking, outrageous! Mashed potatoes for appetizers? Weenie winks, cheese and crackers, even chips and dip would have been more elegant. Different prices at different bars, crazy! What a shame the whole affair was.
