The township has a blank check when it comes to the ideas that come forth by the manager and council. The township hiring a person to fight FEMA, when the fight was over, hiring a PR guy when established businesses don't want to use the township's name, hiring an in-house engineer, and using the services of others. The list goes on! Now, when the everyday citizen, a.k.a taxpayer complains about the taxes, or the swimming pool outside their home, a.k.a township street, they are looked at as the problem.
