Wildwood Police reported 4,934 incidents during the month of Dec. 2013. Wow. Are you kidding me ? This is a winter month when maybe 3,000 residents are living here. This means to me that the police are not doing their job or are undermanned and the criminals are taking over our city. Or the numbers are inflated. What are the figures projected for a July weekend when our city swells to 200,000 ? We are going to need an additional 1,000 cops this summer. The figures are going to scare our visitors to go to Camden for a vacation instead of Wildwood.
