Lower Township contracted with an animal control service from the northern part of the county several years ago. The response time was long and the hours they would respond were limited. Further, the service when available was not even close to being as good as it is now. To replace our Animal Control Officers with an outside service would be a huge mistake and not worth the few dollars, if any, it might save.
