I am hoping that in 2014, the taxpayers will vote to dissolve the Wildwood Boardwalk Special Improvement District. The reason is, that this is nothing but double taxation. The property taxes of Wildwood and North Wildwood pay the city employees to clean the boardwalk, as they have done for decades. The marketing can be done by the Greater Wildwood Tourism Authority, and nobody will have to pay the SID fees.
