A national non-profit organization comprised of physicians and public health professionals known as Environment and Human Health, Inc. has weighed in on outdoor wood boilers now under ordinance review in Dennis Township. In their Letter to the Editor titled: "Ban on Outdoor Wood Boilers is Needed" published on Dec. 4 in the Herald, detail after detail was presented regarding harmful health hazards associated with operation of these boilers. In short, they are totally banned in some places, and highly regulated in most others. The health of all Dennis Twp. residents must not be compromised.
