Do other school district's teachers associations in the county bypass the election process when choosing their new officers? Ironically enough, the Lower Township Elementary Education Association will go out of its way to make sure its members are made aware of who they are "encouraged" to vote for at public election time by the NJEA. I guess it's too much to ask that they are actually given a voice in the selection process of their association's new leaders. Beware when your union is "appointing" your leadership. To think that teachers actually "pay dues" for this is both shady and comical.
