One day last week, my dog was having a perfectly happy morning. A medical crisis hit him right out of the blue in the afternoon. That evening, I had to make the decision to send him home to God if need be. Thankfully, he pulled thru. … It was a reminder to me that we never know when it will be the last time we will see a friend, neighbor, loved one – or pet. It reminded me to be kind and charitable to others all the time – not just at Christmas.
