Elon Musk is running around talking about Social Security and Medicare cuts, but the votes will never be there for what he wants. Medicaid is a different story because those cuts target children and poor people. Nearly half of people in poverty are on Medicaid. The program also insures 4 out of every 10 children, and eight out of every ten children who live in poverty.
