Dennis Township

A Spout responder to the idea that site of the proposed housing project on Indian Trail be purchased using Open Space Funds asks "what would the County DO with the land?" The beauty of purchasing truly open space is that NOTHING has to be done with it. Open Space requires no roads be built, no drinking water supplied, no sewage be disposed of, no trash picked up, requires no police or emergency services and no schools be built. In return Open Space absorbs carbon dioxide, provides oxygen, allows rain water to be absorbed, provides habitat for myriad diverse species all at no charge. Win-Win
