Re: the 340 home "redevelopment project" in Middle Twp. Mayor Leusner states that he "hopes" many of these homes will be affordable enough for young families but the township has no control over pricing. This is untrue. A contract is must be agreed upon between 2 or more parties. Middle can refuse to sell the land to the developers unless the price point is enumerated in the contract. A formula based on median income could be the basis for the required price point.
