What is wrong with the new hotel design? Just a few little things….. The project is too big for the space. The project is not permitted under current zoning. There is no beach at the spot. The claim that Ocean City has “lost” hotel rooms is not true. Some have transitioned into condo-tells but rooms are still available. The streets feeding the location can’t handle the traffic ,they are small residential and in the Main Street goes by the high school which shuts down the streets for buses every school day. How is a guest to get to the hotel? Add the lack of labor and you have a disaster.
