Just doing some thinkin. And i came up with an idea. Let's fine/jail employers who hire illegals. Seems like we are coming at the issue from the wrong end. No documents no hire. Hire them, you lose your business. Sound good? Sound legal? sound fair? Both here and nationaly many of the occupations doing the hiring are construction, painting, landscaping, farming. And the kicker is, and especially here in the Cape, that these businesses are Republican owned. "We don't want you here, but wait... can you work cheap?" That is messed up. Penalize the cheaters.
